The Nutrition Link

  • Human health and disease are directly linked to nutrition.
  • Nutrition comes from food and agriculture.
  • Current system of food production has degenerated our food, health and environment

There has been significant decline in mineral levels in all modern foods from the farm.  ‘The British Report, from the University of Louisiana shows food nutrient analyses from 1940 to 1991 have been reduced by 20 – 60%.  For example vegetables have on an average lost 76% of their copper and 46% of their calcium over that period’.

  • Fifty percent of people do not obtain their recommended daily intake of Vitamin A,
  • 80% do not obtain their recommended daily intake of vitamin B6 and
  • 75% do not obtain their recommended daily intake of magnesium.

“A poor and costly record on health is a part of what has brought the crisis in British food and farming to a head.” British Commission report 2001.

  • “Nutrition comes from agriculture and only agriculture.”
  • “Farmers truly hold in their hands the health, well being and longevity of their fellow humans. It is perhaps the greatest ministry of all with which God entrusts us.”
  • “Agriculture is the major source of poisons and toxic metals in our food”.  Dr Arden Anderson, 2008

This link is no more evident when it has been shown that “Roundup inhibits steroidogenesis by disrupting steroidogenic acute regulatory (StAR) protein expression which blocks progesterone production. This disruption of progesterone production causes infertility in humans.
You can also have pesticide induced infertility/hormone disruption. Common farm insecticides; Organochlorine Lindane and Organophosphate Dimethoate inhibit steroidogenis”. Walsh, et al. (2000) Environmental Health Perspectives.

The latest assault on our food quality, environment and health is GMO crops
